Adventures in adventures

Jessica started kindergarten. Wow! Time flies. Not an original statement, but certainly one that takes on new meaning as you age. Why is it that as you realize how much you need to cherish each moment that they become so fleeting? The question is the answer. When time is precious, you feel it pass more quickly.

In addition, Rachel started nursery school two mornings a week. Just two hours a morning, but she is loving it. This afternoon, after dropping Jessica off at her music theatre program, Rachel announced that she wanted to go back to her school. There was much sadness after I explained that the school wasn't open right now. So instead we went for a walk with various "adventures" along the way. Even though it sounds so hokey, it really is just one big adventure. In the eyes of two little girls everything is an adventure, and I'm just lucky to be able to come along for the ride.
